I like to search the web for various things…shopping, product comparisons, resources. I usually use Google becasue I was told it searches everything…Will you get the same hits on, say Yahoo, or does one search engine really produce better/more results?

Whats wrong with Yahoo search?

I search for a topic. It brings up the usual list of things you would expect. Like always. But in the last week or so when I click on the link, it takes me somewhere totally different, another search site or a place to find comparison shopping. What the heck is the deal? Is this some kind of new thing between Yahoo and other companies? Is anyone else experiencing this?

How do I find a credit card account that will allow me to accept mail order payments for a small business?

I am working with the publisher of a small journal. We need to make arrangements to accept credit card payments for subscriptions and advertisements.

How do I do this? What are the search terms I’d put into Yahoo or Google? (If I just enter “open credit card account”, most of the links assume I want to get my own personal credit card.)

Are there any sites which list fees for multiple banks so that I can do comparison shopping to find an account with low fees?

Thanks.

a) Why doesnt Google create a GOOGLE MERCHANT CENTER and combine it with a single interface with GOOGLE WEBMASTER TOOLS, where you can sign up for GOOGLE CHECKOUT and ADWORDS and enter products in GOOGLE BASE and FROOGLE and then integrate with the below
b) Google Toolbar – when it installs and the user clicks on a product name and clicks “Add to shopping list” it must transparently add to his Froogle account, then in a popup, comparison shopping prices must appear…
Very funny that Yahoo has a YAHOO SITE EXPLORER where you can “authenticate” and “manage” your site but what happened to the “TEXT URL MAP (yahoos version of sitemap)” that I submitted long time ago?
“You should be asking Google, no? ”

“You think they would respond or do it?”
