Price Comparison – Getting the Best Deal

Dominik Macinger asked:

When it comes to the things we buy, we are always concerned about its cost regardless of the product. For those whose money is always in short supply, getting a lower price means you can buy more with the same amount of money. Even those who have lots of money, there is some sort of pleasure in knowing that you got a lot of bang for your buck. Although the items that you are looking at may be the same, some sellers and retail outlets might be willing to accept a lower profit to entice buyers and sell more. This is why you can save a lot of money if you are willing to get a proper price comparison.

But there is a lot of effort that is needed in order to get some price comparisons. If you are just buying items in the grocery, it might just be as easy as going across the aisle. But for other, more expensive items, you might need to go from store to store or maybe even from one mall to another. This is very tiring and can even cost you more in gas money if you fail to find anything cheaper than what you had at first. Because of this, you need to be wise enough to decide whether you can still realistically get a lower price or if it’s the best that you can get.

Shopping on the internet, getting a price comparison is as easy as it can be. You can go from store to store with just a simple click of the mouse. All you have to know is which web sites can deliver items to your location or those that have local retail outlets in your area. You also need to consider whether the web site that you are looking at is the real deal or not. You are ensured of an online store’s validity if they have an actual retail outlet somewhere. In the case of online stores that do not have retail outlets, you should ask around about its integrity. A store that has been around for a long time is more likely to be a real store and not a scam. You should also ask the people you know whether they have bought something from that online store or not. Just so you know that the store actually delivers the items. Getting a price comparison from online stores only takes a few minutes and no effort at all, you should therefore exhaust all possible sources in order to find the best price or the best deal.

A price comparison can sometimes be not enough to indicate which the better buy is. There can be a few perks or drawbacks that you need to consider in order getting more accurate quantification of its value. Some stores might offer free shipping or other freebies that can make their items more desirable over the cheaper offerings of their competitors. Some companies might also provide a much shorter warranty period to compensate for the lower price. With warranties, you are actually gambling. If your device lasts longer than the more expensive items warranty, then it’s worth it. If it doesn’t, then you did not get your money’s worth.

Getting the right price comparison is not as easy as comparing the price of one to the other. You should also be able to put a value to things that are not included in the price. A lower price doesn’t always guarantee that you are getting the best deal.

File a Corporation Online – A Price Comparison

Zach Schapel asked:

So you’ve decided to incorporate your business, and you are making the all important decision of how and how much. Well, here is a breakdown of the cost differences between forming a corporation online and filing corporation papers the old fashioned way, with a lawyer.

First, let’s discuss the fees for an average lawyer formation and filing of corporation papers. Based upon an average hourly rate of $250.00, a lawyer would charge $1,500.00 for the formation of a corporation. This number could be reduced to around $1,000.00, depending if you know a very cheap attorney, or a family friend. However, it is safe to say the total charge will be above $1,000 based upon the average salary and time required from an attorney.

To file a corporation online, the costs would be much less depending upon the features that you require. The basic incorporation package can be filed using an online legal document service for $150.00. The state filling fee is not included, however, and depending upon your state will add anywhere from $50 to $150 dollars. Basically, the total estimate for everything included would be under $300.00 for the entire package of filing a corporation online. There are many optional features that can be added, including applying for a Tax ID, filing for S Corporation status, and stock certificates. These options can add another $100 to $300 dollars depending upon how many you need.

All things considered it is still a great deal cheaper to file a corporation online. The process is also much simpler because you do not need to directly contact a lawyer. The price difference in forming a corporation online is anywhere from 50-60% less expensive than a comparable attorney. Especially for small businesses, this represents a significant difference and one that should be weighed carefully.

If you are unsure of certain details such as tax status, and other issues with corporations, it is still recommended to consult a lawyer before forming a corporation. However, there is nothing to stop someone from simply consulting a lawyer about the process, and then proceeding the file the corporation papers online. This would save a great deal of money in hourly fees from a licensed attorney, and would address any issues that you could have with filing status.

Surgical and Natural Mole Removal Price Comparison

Jules Fletcher asked:

Many people who promote natural mole and wart remedies talk endlessly about how much you can save if you use a DIY formula to eliminate unwanted benign growths. There’s no question that if you spend a few dollars (usually about $40) on a home remedy versus paying a plastic surgeon ($150 to $400) to remove a mole you’ll save a lot of money, especially if your healthcare insurance doesn’t cover elective or cosmetic surgery. But that’s a very small part of the issue because the potential problems of making a bad choice are not limited to having a scar.

Mole removal is a serious business because moles can be malignant (cancerous) without you knowing it. The danger of a deciding to remove a mole quickly without a doctor, is that you may read about how safe, effective and affordable the cream is and go out and buy it (or order it online) without first going to your dermatologist to have the moles examined or subjected to a biopsy. Because the home remedies are cheap and easy to use, you may say to yourself, “I’ve had that mole forever and I doubt it’s cancerous.” But are you sure? What if it’s not benign? You must be aware that the cells of a mole that are malignant, if attempted to be removed without a specialist’s knowledge, could cause the cells to re-grow and spread needlessly. It doesn’t matter how much you save on a mole removal treatment if you unwittingly cause cancerous cells to reproduce.

Since surgical mole removal price ranges can go up as high as $400, I’m not suggesting you must have a plastic surgeon do the job. In fact cheap natural mole removal kits can be a good alternative. There’s just one condition: You absolutely must have your moles or skin tags checked by a physician first, then if they’re benign, go ahead and choose the cheaper route.

iPhone 4G Price Comparison

Robert Melkonyan asked:

The smart phone competition is heating up every month as more phones are introduced with the newest features available on all the major cell phone carriers. One of the biggest areas in competition is the price. With all the phones available being so close in comparison with various features the selling point very well may be the price. Usually carriers offer huge discounts in order for you to agree to sign a new two year contract, therefore guaranteeing that you are going to be using their service at least for the next two years. They continue to do this for existing customers as well to discourage anyone from jumping ship to a new carrier when the newest phone comes out.

The iPhone is a huge name in the smart phone market. They are offered in a variety of sizes which are directly related to the price. The smaller ones are cheaper since the larger ones give the benefit of more storage capacity. The iPhone 4G is likely to be priced similar to the iPhone 3GS was with a price of $199 for the 16GB models while the much smaller 8GB models sold for $99 with the 2 year contract. The 32GB model is $299 and the largest size that AT&T offer together. This is also the most expensive smart phone on the market in comparison to all the other options.

The other smart phones such as the Motorola Droid and Palm Pre have much smaller internal storage but can use external storage methods such as the SD cards to increase their capacity. The Droid sells for $199 with a very small internal memory of 256MB. The Palm has just as much as the smallest iPhone and is more expensive than the smallest iPhone with a price tag of $149. Apple has definitely made themselves stand out with the internal size of the phone being so great and not comparable to any other smart phone on the market. They may also alienate some of it though because many want removable storage and Apple would have lower sales of its higher sized storage models due to the ability to buy an external storage chip to serve the same purposes.

Another big name on the smart phone market is the blackberry series. The Blackberry Bold has a mere 256MB of storage space on it but has a similar price to most phones of $199. The cheapest smart phone available appears to be the Blackberry Tour 9630 for a mere $49.99 but it also has a small storage space capacity. Each phone also runs its own operating system or form of it depending on who manufactured the phone.

Most smart phones have the same features but the way they are implemented and function separates them from each other. For example, all of them have cameras but the added capabilities on these cameras and supported megapixels distinguish them from one another. The price is one of the selling points for all phones, including the iPhone 4G but it’s not the only factor to consider.
