PT cruiser, with a manual transmission. Better reliability. Seriously.
Unless this VW was made in the last 2 or 3 years, it’s no contest. A CHRYSLER is the winner in this comparison.
edit: If we’re talking ORIGINAL VW beetle convertible, then the VW. If we’re talking New Beetle, PT Cruiser.
Note all the frowny faces for the new ones. (And note all the smiley faces for the old ones)
Note how many fewer frowny faces there are.
The New Beetle is a pile of crap.

hello. IF I was making that same choice of yours, I would pick the VW, it’d be a solider ride when riding ‘on the road’. Both are cute in their own ways. : }

Go with the Beetle.
If you want a much better looking car, that is faster and more reliable and has a better interior design and quality, then go for the VW.
