need help comparing HP Pavilion desktops?
natali asked:
All I really know about computers is that my 5-year-old HP Pavilion a320n is outdated and very slow.
After reading tons of reviews for a budget desktop, I came up with 2 HP Pavilions: a6700f and a6750f.
The a6750f has 2x the RAM, the other specs I don’t really understand.
My pc is for typical home use like internet, networking, email, games and tons of pictures; so have a few questions:
1) is the a6750f worth the extra $150,- and why?
2) will I be able to get a free Windows upgrade from Vista to Windows 7 if I buy a pc now?
3) any other suggestions in the same or lower price-range?

Note: I prefer HP and AMD after reading recommendations.
Thank you.

changed my mind on the price-range: anything between $600-$1000 is probably much better…
suggestions please! thanks a lot!

The 6750 has better graphics and has a PCI-E x16 expansion port so you can add an even better video card if needed.
You get more memory and hard disk space and better processor.
