ok so here’s the deal:

I ordered an item off Amazon earlier this morning to which the total came to $17.58. Stupid me didn’t do price comparisons and as a result I came across the exact item at Circuit City for $11.70. The estimated date of delivery for Amazon is Jan 1, while I could drive to CC and get it now. My car takes premium unleaded only with an average price of $3.00 per gallon. CC is about 5 miles away. I cannot cancel the order from Amazon. If I return Amazon’s order I still need to pay the shipping, which was $3.99. Time is not critical, but it would be nice to have it sooner. The post office is also about 5 miles away.

What say you?

I used to shop at a market that gave $5 off your total bill if you bought a minimum of $20 – so you could pay as low as $15 for $20 worth of groceries. Well, all good things must come to an end, and their “New Deal” is $6 off total bill of a minimum purchase of $30.

So what is the percentage discount before and with the “New Deal” ?
